Who Is Linus Ruzicka?

There’s a reason why I started this blog, and it’s a damn good one.  It better be, or why else would I be doing this?  I finally grew sick and tired of working a J-O-B where I had to answer to someone else, had to be in to work at a certain time, working a schedule that was dependent on when surgeons wanted to work, and missing the important moments of my kiddos lives!

Because of those reasons, that’s why I started my own internet business online. And why I created this blog because I want to meet, network, and give back to other entrepreneurs who are in the same situation just like I was.

It’s my way of “Paying It Forward” so I can help others have the same success as I have.  My hope is that my story can help inspire you to discover a better alternative and a new “you” just like I did when I started working from home (part time at first), being my own boss, making money online – all on my schedule, not someone else’s.

I am NOT here to sell you anything.  I am here to provide assistance to those that want – or better yet – NEED to have a stable, reliable income.

My goal is to help those that want to transition away from where you are — to the world of  “I’m my OWN boss”.

I will give you all that I have been taught and the HOPE of doing better in your life for many years to come.  I will help you deal with the unknowns and the frustrations of building your own business, such as

But before I get into all of that…let me just tell you a bit more about myself…

When I sit and look at my background, the term “You’ve come a long way baby” jumps to mind.

I was born and raised in Walla Walla, WA on a farm.  Great place for a kid to grow up!  I can only hope for space like that for my kiddos to grow up and run around.

Now I’m going to be upfront and honest with you here.  Holding nothing back.  A life changing moment (actually two moments) happened on that farm.  Moments that formed me and helped steer me to who I am today.  When I was 12, my mom died of a sudden and massive heart attack.  For being 12, talk about a shock to the system.  There was a lot to learn seeing your mom buried without getting a chance to see you grow up.  It was saddening and took a lot to get used to.  There is times when I still think it was just a dream considering it was over 20 years ago now.

Then the second “moment” happened 2 years later when I was 14.  Just when you think you get over one tragedy, another slapped me in the face with a HUGE dose of reality.  My dad died of the same thing as my mom on a Sunday morning.  A 14 year old shouldn’t have to perform CPR on his own father lying lifeless on the floor.

But that’s exactly what happened.  To fast forward a bit, the funeral went by, my younger sister and I were faced with the decision of being separated and put into foster homes, living with relatives, or getting into a custody battle.

Long story short we moved in with my cousin and his family, adjusted, and got on with getting on.  From that moment forward, I knew that my life was about ME.  If I wanted to get something done, it was about me doing it for myself.

Moving forward, I graduated highschool ( yes, I was the quiet introvert – played sports – but was still very shy) and went to college – Washington State University (Go Cougs!!)  This is where I met my eventual wife Melissa.  I graduated with a degree in Zoology in 1999 with plans of becoming a veterinarian.

After graduation from college, I started working on an adventure cruise line out of Seattle getting a chance to see the wild of Alaska, the wine country of Napa Valley in California, and the sunny beaches of the Baja Peninsula/Cabo San Lucas.  It was great to move around and see the world before settling into more schooling and veterinary school.

Yeah, about that veterinary school thing.  HA!  Funny thing happened.  I started working as a veterinary tech and found out that is NOT what I wanted to do.  Lesson learned!

So I moved back to the town Melissa lived, got married, and started working as a surgical scrub technician in surgery.  Now THIS was a job I could handle.  Adrenaline rush, on-call hours, and great people to work.  I even went back to school to get my RN degree and became a surgical RN.  During school my daughter was born.  Worked out great as it was during the summer between my 2 years of RN school.

And just this last year God graced my wife and I with our son.  We are truly blessed.

I grew up a HUGE baseball fan.  Played it in little league, watched in on t.v., and always get that little extra kick come spring time with the start of spring training.  I grew up listening to the Seattle Mariners on the radio on a summer night with my dad.  Great memories.

Now days, to say that I’m a football fan would be an understatement.  I love football.  Pro, college, even high school.  Fall time is when I REALLY get energized with the start of football.  I play fantasy football it’s addicting!  I’ve had to ration myself time from my online business to sneak in a few hours each week for fantasy football.  We even have a live draft party, trophy, and end of season party.  This next year we’re talking about Vegas.  I’ll keep you posted on that one…

Now, let me paint you a little picture of my life as a surgical RN.

I hinted at this earlier, but there is more detail to it all.

My day started at 5am to an alarm clock I affectionately called “the banshee.”  If I never have to listen to that thing again I’ll be a happy man.  I drag myself out of bed, shower, slam down a breakfast, and drive to work often before the sun is even up (depending on the time of the year).  Once I get to work, I’d finally wake up about an hour later.

Now, depending on the surgery schedule, I could typically be out of work at 3-3:30pm.  But if the surgeons wanted to work late, I had to work late. Do you have any idea how annoying that is?  Working as a surgical RN, you’re sort of stuck working a schedule as the surgeons see fit. There was no way to really plan an dentist appointment, and it drove my wife nuts when we had planned that I would be home with the kids when she had an appointment, but if a surgeon wanted to add on a case that day, I was stuck in surgery, not at home so my wife could get to her appointment.

So between the weird hours, the fact I was working for someone else, the  METRIC ton of legal issues and paperwork (which I loathe) involving patient care, and the stress of being on call, when I was presented with the concept of network marketing, I was quite stirred.

My first company was a health and wellness company.  Great products, great residual income, great idea right?  Wrong again!

I was spending more money on my business than I was getting out.  My largest check was $68 in one month.  Terrible!  After a year of crappy checks, blowing through my warm market, growing tired of old school recruiting tactics – you know the kind: home parties, hotel meetings, talking to strangers in restaurants, grocery lines, door to door salesmen, alienating co-workers, family, and friends.  I was spending more time away from home than I wanted (which ironically was one of the reasons I started in MLM anyways – to be closer to home and the kids).

I grew so frigging tired of it I stepped away from that company in April of 2008.

But I didn’t give up on the idea of MLM.  I’ve always thought outside of the box.  I’ve always had a problem with people saying you need to do this and you need to do that.

Further, I KNEW there was a way people were making money online.  And not just a little.  I’m talking HUGE money.  But how the hell were they doing it?

What did they have that I didn’t?

What did these true entrepreneurs know that I hadn’t learned yet?

I spent the next several months researching different tactics online.  Different strategies. Different approaches. A different way of thinking.

That is when I stumbled on a solution – a formula to my problems with recruiting, little to no lead generation, and of course, NO income what-so-ever.

This was a formula that would change the face of how I recruited, how I “sold” my business, and how I would start a flow of leads and income.

It was so simple that it seemed complicated, but it was a concept based on something that our grandfathers were doing when they made a business deal – a smile, a handshake, and a new relationship.

How did I transform my business with results that I even at one point I never thought attainable?

It’s actually pretty simple.

The secret to my success in the industry, and what I teach are simple solutions to the major problems faced by all network marketers – few leads and little cash for their pocket. This is the main reason that 97% of network marketers fail in their first year!

The secret isn’t really a secret, it’s just an under-utilized concept that only 3% of network marketers are using today.

It’s the process of Attraction marketing and implementing the tactics that it involves.

Now, I can’t take credit for inventing this.  Someone else did that.  All I did was stumble on the process and put it to work for me.

When I finally got to see the process put into place and how well it worked, I was in awe.

Attraction marketing and creating a lead generating system are exactly how the top income earners in network marketing are making a large sizeable residual income.  So why shouldn’t we?

In my first day using this process and system, I generated 8 leads!  That was more in one day than I ever generated in 1 month with my old MLM company.

Remember how I told you my largest month was $68?  I generated that in one day and THEN SOME with my first affiliate commission!

Here I sit months later and the sky’s the limit!  I have generated more leads, talked with endless counts of people that were attracted to me and what I had to teach them, and made more money than ever thought possible.

And guess what…I did it with only social networking.  I haven’t even generated an active Pay-Per-Click campaign yet.  Can you imagine how that will turn out when I flip that switch?

Are you ready to step forward out of the veil of old school prospecting techniques?

I truly believe in the sharing of knowledge and resources for the improvement of others. That’s why I don’t charge anything for my Marketing Training.

I now look at things differently.  Instead of looking from the outside in wishing I was part of the solution, I’m on the inside looking out waving my arms wildly trying to get others to come and learn what I’ve learned.

Because of attraction marketing, I now know that I have found an approach that stands out above the crown while everyone else mills around underneath pitching their opportunity or products.

If you’re one of those people, there is a much easier way of doing things, and I’ll show you how.

Now, I will admit…this is NOT For everyone.  Some people will look at this; give it a test drive, and fail.  But that’s o.k., it just wasn’t for them.

Some will jump in, think it’s a get rich quick set-up, and bail after the 1st month because they didn’t generate any leads.

To be honest with you, that’s fine also, because those are the types of people you don’t want working with you anyways.

You want someone with a large drive to succeed, a passion for thinking outside of the box, someone with a real sense of being an entrepreneur.

You want someone with the work ethic who can stick to a plan, remain consistent in their plan of action, and is always willing to stay in the learning process to keep educating themselves.  This will only make them more attractive to other prospects.
