No matter where you go now a days, the internet is an ever present entity in our daily lives. It’s in our homes, at work, coffee shops, airports, mobile phones, etc.
But even through all of our daily interactions with the internet and our accessability to it, do you know what the #1 product is on the internet today?
It’s an easy answer really. It’s right under our noses day in and day out – 24/7, 365 days a year in an endless, bountiful supply.
It’s free in most places, while in other places you have to pay for it, depending on it’s value. But depending on how desperate someone is to acquire it, its perceived value can actually be priceless.
Have you figured out what it is yet…?
…It’s INFORMATION!
Information is the #1 product that people are looking for online today – unequivocally! It is the backbone of what makes the internet so valuable.
It is so pervasive that without the product INFORMATION, the internet would cease to exist.
You’re probably asking “well duh! Why even write about it Linus?”
AH! That’s a good question.
I can only assume that you are in network marketing. And you’re reading this in hopes that you will find some good information. Something that may be new, fresh, or actually answer a question for you.
See, as a network marketer, and more specifically an “Attraction Marketer”, I am trying to provide you and others with valuable information and content. (Information about information here – Profound huh?)
But really though, as an attraction marketer, the information that you are able to provide someone has the potential to separate you from the masses.
If you are the one who is able to provide an answer – the information – to someone else’s question, you are golden. If your information is the solution so someone else’s problem, you are their “harbor” in the storm. You just became the one piece of chocolate cake in front of 10 fat kids.
When other network marketers hop online with a problem (poor lead generation, no cash flow, etc.) they are looking for an answer (information) to their problem.
When your answer is the solution that they have been looking for, guess who just made a new lead, sale, team member, etc.?
This is the premise of attraction marketing.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s not about your business.
It’s not about your products.
It’s not about your compensation plan.
It is about you, it is about what solution you are providing to someone else’s questions or problems.
And as an attraction marketer, you SHOULD be providing that answer.
You shouldn’t be providing them with your comp plan, new MLM pre-launch, spam, or out dated MLM company.
Your only “product” at this point in time is information. The information that will give them their solution that they are looking for here on the information super-highway.
Now imagine providing that solution to not just one person, but two, and then three, etc. You are now building your list. Building your cash flow.
So what kind of information would you provide for someone looking for a solution to a lack of leads, little to no cash flow, and no idea AT ALL of how to market online?
You simply build a relationship with them, ask questions, find out about their specific problem, and tailor a solution to that problem.
Your product is the information. And through that information they acquire their solution. It’s really as simple and elementary as that. But people tend to muck it all up by promoting company replicated sites, pitching pre-launches, not branding themselves effectively, and in essence, they become peddlers.
Would you rather be a peddler or a solution provider?
This really is as simple as providing a solution to other network marketers problems. Wouldn’t you rather be on this side of it, PROVIDING the solution instead of LOOKING for a solution?
