This last weekend I had the pleasure of attending a Live MLM Training here locally.
Well, not exactly “local” as I had a 4 hour drive to get there, but you get my idea.
If you hadn’t seen the updates on my Facebook page – or the individual posts on their own fan page – My Lead System Pro is now doing live events in large cities throughout the country.
So expect to see more popping up in the coming weeks and months.
This last Saturday was the first one here in the Pacific Northwest, and as I had been asked by several of my blog readers, I am dedicating this post to that live mlm training with MLSP.
Anyways, here are my Top 5 Reasons:
Reason #1
Well, you get to meet people face to face! This has to be reason #1 for everyone.
So many of us are so involved with internet marketing, we forget that there is REAL people involved at times, not just some cyber pic of us on Facebook, Twitter, or our blogs.
This last Saturday, I finally got a chance to meet Norbert Orlewicz (co-creator of MLSP) face to face. Yeah, I’ve been with him and the system even before MLSP launched back in 2008. But I finally got a chance to meet up with him. It always seems that the times there has been events in the past, something else always seemed to get in the way with our schedules.
Remember, building relationships with people is crucial to your business. What better way to do it than in person?

Reason #2
Guest speakers!
Now, I’m not going to guarantee that EVERY live training is going to have phenominal guest speakers.
Some might be small and intimate.
BUT, for the ones that are small and intimate AND include a guest speaker – that equals BONUS in my book.
This Saturday we were treated to Todd Falcone.
How cool is that? Small room, small group, one of the top producers in MLM today sharing techniques and strategies of how he ties offline and online marketing together.
Genious!
Remind me sometime to actually talk to you about his training. It’s kinda crazy just how stupidly simple it really is.
I never thought I’d be eating lunch with Todd and Norbert – and spend our time talking about potty training our kids – instead of internet marketing.
Ridiculous!

Reason #3
Tips and Tactics you may never hear anywhere else.
Have you ever heard the someone else say, “You need to attend live trainings – that’s where all the tactics are given out!”
Well, there is some truth to that.
In this training alone, I know of at least 2 HUGE things coming down the pipeline that only a very small amount of people know about – and several small things that no one else is talking about yet.
But because of this training, I was able to start implementing these tactics right away before the masses got ahold of the information. And I’ve been implementing them for the last week – way ahead of the curve.
And already seeing the success from some of it.

I wouldn’t leave you hanging would I?
Reason #4
Networking with Other Local Marketers
Obviously, the internet is a WIDE open market you can meet anyone clear across the globe from you in a matter of seconds.
Well, wouldn’t it be nice to network with someone locally?
Someone that you could team up with to mastermind, bounce ideas off of, hold local “Meet-ups” to attract more people into your system or your business.
I met 3 outstanding people at this local Seattle event for MLSP that we are already contacting each other to get something started in our local cities.
Reason #5
Pics and Videos with the Host and Guests
Now, you’ve seen the two pics I have up here on this post.
That is just an example of the things you can use to help brand you as a leader and a mentor.
Starting out brand new in internet marketing, you’re head is probably spinning with ways to start branding yourself.
Well, this is one way to help provide social proof that you’re out there learning and getting involved.
Get pics with your upline, the top earners, the big names that are out there!
That is, unless you’re really good with Photoshop of course…

Great post Linus. I attended a live event about a month ago and had a chance to meet some great Leaders.
It’s great meeting people you’ve actually been chatting with online.

Hey Linus,
Great post about the live events. Many people just plain skip these events because they think they are all “MLM Hype”. Nothing could be further from the truth. They have ZERO to do with MLM’s. It’s a shame more people don’t attend.

MLM hype is NOT what you encounter at these events.
I went into fairly good detail in the blog post itself, but really those are the points that people need to be focusing on when attending a live event.
These are not “rah rah” pump you up events. Theses are hardcore training sessions that will permit you to find some of the successes that others have had that you won’t find anywhere else.

Live Events are one of My most FAV things about network marketing …. You can’t beat the energy and make face to face connections is so powerful.

Hey Linus,
Great tips about connecting with others in this great business. I have always heard that you probably really don’t get “IT” until you attend a live event…and I agree. It’s not an MLM “rally”, it’s marketers getting the best information available from the top earners in the business. Getting the info directly from the source is the best info you can get.
Glad it was a HUGE success. We will have to meet soon at one of these events.
