Mindset for Success – Even When You Lose Your Internet
I know that I’ve talked to you all about Mindset before. Specifically one of my blog posts about Mindset for Success in 2010.
See, I have wireless internet – which has been very reliable for me, but today we are having a typical springtime wind storm that usually hits the area this time of year, and I have a sneaky suspicion that the wind knocked out one of the local towers.
Anyways, as I type out this post, I currently have no internet connection. So I’m writing it out on “Word” and will copy it over to my blog once my internet is back up.
Immediately, I’m reminded about mindset and that even though my internet is down right now, I’m not going to let it keep me from at least writing out my post.
I can always post it up into WordPress once the internet is back up.
Mindset From An Unlikely Source
Maybe I’m listening for it more, or maybe it’s that my mind is looking for other topics on mindset where ever they may pop up, or maybe it’s God speaking to me.
I don’t have a definitive answer – at least not yet.
But yesterday in church, our pastor was discussing with us the how God ALWAYS finishes what he starts. No matter the situation, he finishes what he starts.
He never starts a task and then decides half way through that “Eh…well, that life is good enough, I’ll just leave it to be.”
He began his life here on Earth with the birth of Jesus Christ and finished it with his crucifixion and resurrection – this week actually as it is Easter coming up on Sunday.
So It Got Me Thinking…
“This can easily apply to network marketers. How many of us start with a company or a system, and never see it through until the job is complete?” We get burnt by it, it was too hard, it doesn’t work, the products suck, etc., etc., etc.
So I decided, “What a great topic for my next blog post!”
So, what is it we need to do to get to that point?
What do we need to do so that we can finish something that we start – and finish it well?
Maybe in high school you were on the track team, and didn’t break into varsity ranks, so you give up.
But why?
If there is one thing that I have learned through the years and hope to pass on to my own children, is that if you start something, you need to finish it, and finish it well.
Don’t do it half way and give up. Be committed!
Play All In
This is where your mindset heavily comes into play.
If you have kids that are old enough to understand, how do you feel when they start a project or a task, and then give up half way through?
Are you disappointed? Do you try and set them straight and remind them to finish what they start?
No matter your answer, the same rule should apply to you as well.
Why should you have a different set of rules and mindset from your kids?
Why should you have any different mindset than what God has, and wants for us as well?
Mindset is the key to all of this. When you start something, you should finish it, and finish it well.
That relates to you and your primary business, any sales funnel system that you’re in, or any other venture or task.
Think about yourself and your primary business and whether or not you’ve finished it, and finished it well…
…Even if you’re in the middle of a windstorm and have no internet.
So you now have an idea about mindset and how it IS the foundation for your success online. But, did you know that there is another important piece of the puzzle? Since I know that you have a desire to be successful, and you’re desperately looking for someone to show you a Blueprint of sorts to help you achieve that success, I have something for you. I have created the “Prospect Attraction Guide” Exclusive only here on my blog.
To access this important piece of the puzzle, simply put your Name, E-mail, and Phone number in the “Prospect Attraction Guide” form to the right of this blog post, and I’ll send you the Exact same training PLUS – I’ll include my Full “7-Day Attraction Marketing Blueprint” course as an added Bonus for Free! Hi Linus,
I shared the same pertaining to issues of mindset in my Blog. This is the trend that newbies are facing until they eventually go broke as a result of jumping from one program to another.
Of course we can, but after the due diligence has been carried out.
Please do comment The Rate of Vibration in my Blog.
Keep up the good work dude!

Zainal,
Thanks for stopping by to visit and leave a comment.
As I was saying in the post, people need to stay in their current company, and see it through to success.
Just because the grass looks greener on the other side, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true.
God Bless,
Linus

Hey Linus
Ha Ha…the Irony of this post. Having spent all day holding a team talk with my members about mindset and ‘seeing things through to the end’..I find that I have still yet to complete 5 of the tasks that I set myself 2 day ago !!
Even us mentors are fallible
Great Post Linus.

Julie,
Thanks for stopping by to visit and post a comment.
LOL…5 tasks are an ongoing battle.
I took a piece of practice form Mike Dillard last year. Each night he creates the top 3 things he NEEDS to get done each day. And he doesn’t go to bed until he gets them done.
so far it’s worked pretty well for me as well.
God Bless,

Get post on not giving up, but said in a different way, Finish What You Started. This is such an important point to make, because how many people start a specific marketing tactic and then before they see if it is going to work they walk away from it. We are all probably guilty of that from time to time. But once you become aware of it, you have to confront it straight on, make a choice.
Finish What You Start.

Kathy,
You’re exactly right. This applies to SO many different levels of our businesses.
Whether it’s a blog post, a PPC campaign, or much bigger when looking at each individuals business.
It truly is that mindset that you will see something through from beginning to the end. When you start something, finish it, and finish it well.
God Bless,
Linus

Barry,
Actually no, that pic was taken the night before my post. See, at night I have an alter-character where I work as a….hey, um…never mind.
I don’t want my villains to know who I really am.

Awesome Linus,
You are definitely my “mindset resource”. I have started quit a few things in my life that I never finished. I am not proud of those unfinished tasks.
But moving forward, is a different story.
Thanks for your insight,

Bert,
One thing I have learned is that it is pointless to go back and regret things not finished from that past. It’s a matter of learning from them, but not dwelling on them.
Looking at the present and the promises of the future are what I focus on.

Hey Linus,
I NEVER pictured you as a “tights” type person (Yes, some people should NEVER be in spandex..me included)
ANOTHER great post about mindset. We are all guilty, to some point, but you have to finish to be successful. Following the example that God places before us is a great starting point.
From my count, you should be about ready to publish that ebook about now

Linus,
I hope by now you are enjoying my barrage of comments!
You’ve displayed what I call “the bulletproof mindset.”
I want to share with a video of Danny Bae where he talks about “the bulletproof mindset.” Let me know what think about the video.
As always, thanks for your leadership.

Yo,
Just finished the video now from Danny. Amazing video!
It is his “bullet proof mindset”, staying focused, and being constantly consistent that will change the face of every network marketer that chooses to follow that same mindset.
I wonder how many people here have that same “bullet proof mindset”?
God Bless,
Linus
