(No, this post isn’t about gold and silver coins)
Much like the prospectors of the 1800′s here in the Western U.S., prospectors set out on their search for gold and prosperity, hoping to find the motherload of gold to make them rich beyond their wildest dreams.
Now, while this is NOT the 1800′s and you’re not really looking for gold – that is exactly what’s happening currently in this industry.
People are jumping into online network marketing in droves, looking for that elusive path to fortune and prosperity.
But sadly, that path is more often paved with misfortune and distaste.
People blaming external forces when facing failure in not finding the fortune they had hoped for.
If someone had only explained more clearly where to find that “golden nugget”, had proper MLM training, or knew where to find that overwhelming secret to online success in network marketing.
The Location of This Secret?
Well, fortunately for you, you are reading this blog post, because I have something I want to tell you today.
I KNOW what that secret is…and I even know where you can find it!
It is a secret that was passed down to me by 3 different people over the course of a few months to a year.
These 3 people have amassed a fortune WELL into the 8-9 figure amount combined.
And the greatest part, not only are they close friends and mentors, but they are humble, friendly, smart, giving, and teaching people.
Are You Ready?
Well, you better be, because here it comes!
No matter how hard you look, no matter where you go to look for it, and no matter how long you spend looking for it – you are wasting your time.
Because believe it or not, you ALREADY have the answer!
You already know the secret to online success because it’s been with you your entire life.

You can have the best lead generation system, the best MLM training that the industry has to offer, the best primary company, the best upline, and the best marketing tools at your disposal. You can have all of the bells and whistles to make this industry BOW to you.
But until you realize that you are the X-factor, or golden nugget, in this equation, then you will CONTINUE to fail and travel down that path of misfortune and distaste.
X+Y=Z
X= You, Y=Your online tools that I mentioned above, and Z=Your online success.
You are the part that makes this equation successful.
With the proper mindset, you can achieve ANYTHING with this equation.
It all depends on your purpose, focus, and determination.
That’s It!
Really, that’s all there is to it. Honestly!
If anyone out there tries to tell you they have the ultimate secret for you, they’re blowing smoke up your butt. Keep an eye out for it, because they will try.
They might have the tools, the best MLM training, or the company to make it appear that way, but they’re really only telling you they have that secret to get you to buy something or join something.
Ask any other successful entrepreneur, millionaire, businessman, or mentor, and they will tell you the same thing.
The real question now depends on you.
What are you going to do to make sure you remain in that equation as that X-factor?

Loved the post! While I’m not actively in the MLM business at this point I know it will be a large part of my business eventually! The “you” factor is the key….so many people buy into the dreams of getting rich w/out the “you” in the equation:) Keep up the great educational writing…

Killer post bro!
We, ourselves, are the “X” factor. You and I both know that there has never been more tools and systems available to the average marketer. But the failure rate is still high.
After training quit a few “newbie” marketers, the main reason why some of them fail is because of themselves.

But like I said, it’s not any system, tool, video, e-book, company, or product.
It is yourself, and the sooner you realize that, the sooner you’ll find success.

So many people look for the quick fix – tips, strategies, books, videos, secrets to success. but ask ANY successful entrepreneur, and they will tell you the same thing: the only “secret” to success is really personal development and mindset.
The key is getting people to look at that, instead of a get rich quick scenario.

You said it! It all starts and ends with YOU. Unfortunately a lot of people don’t realize that. They buy one system after the other and think that’s the secret, but, it isn’t.
If you want to be successful, study successful people. By the way, you will find out that they did not have a system, rather they worked on and improved themselves

This couldn’t be more true.
There will always be systems and tools in place. There will always be the primary company you’re in. And the success you desire will always be there too.
But what you do to fit into that and make yourself part of the equation is the most important part.

I think so many people forget that it really does come down to themselves. This industry can be very alluring in terms of the level of success you can achieve; however, before that success can be realized, you must be able to bring value to your team and others.

People forget about their most valuable asset they have to achieve success.
This past week I clicked on a few links from people on Facebook that I thought may be interesting. I could not believe it when I clicked their link that they passed me on to to their third party funnel system.
I know a lot of people do this, but when they do they are in effect saying that they do not place any value on themselves or me.

But, that shows us that even though there are a lot of people using the systems, they haven’t realized the x+y=z formula I was talking about in the post.
