Believe it or not, webinars are a great money making opportunity!

It’s just that there aren’t a lot of people using it, so now is the time to take advantage of some free training.


Here’s How You Do It:

**Disclaimer: This method will NOT work if you are doing a mastermind webinar with a group of people. It is too hard to add in your own affiliate links for each individual person. So I do not recommend that you present links unless there is a way to benefit the ENTIRE group (i.e. – a group marketing product that you have created).

(Hint hint…look out for one that we’re putting out in late August or early September).

The methods I’m going to talk about below are only if you’re doing the webinar by yourself.

Also, I prefer to use GoToWebinars for my webinars.  What I describe below is in the GoToWebinar format.


1. Catchy Title

Use something as simple as “Linus Ruzicka LIVE Q&A -Plus a Bonus “Open Immediately”

Make sure to put the “Bonus” in the message.

If you have other Copywriting skills, feel free to use them here too.


2. Put The Bonus In The Message

When creating the body of your message, make sure to put the link to whatever your free “Bonus” is inside the body.

It could be an e-book, video bootcamp, free coaching session, etc.

Whatever it is, just make sure that it’s valuable and you label it as the “bonus.”

This is the leverage piece you use to get the people to open your message PLUS, you’re giving them something of quality and value for free.

Also, in the signature of the message, this is where you place your first affiliate link that you want someone to visit.


3. “Where To Send Attendees”

If you are sending people to an affiliate link , here is the second spot where you place the affiliate link.

When setting up the webinar, it gives you an option of where to send the people to after you register.

Simply place your affiliate link in here, and after they register for the webinar, they will be redirected to your site.


4. Reminder Messages

When you set up a webinar, you can set reminders for your attendees.

Under the “Change Settings” section that you see after you set-up the webinar:

Select “E-mail notifications” in the drop down menu:

• Here you can customize the “confirmation email.”
• You can also send reminder e-mails to registrants and invitee’s.  Make sure that you set up all three to be sent at “1 day” “2 hours” and “1 hours”
• Then personalize the reminder message to include your affiliate link

5. The Webinar Itself

Since you are actually doing a webinar, a smart idea is to connect the topic of your webinar to your affiliate links.

For example, if you’re doing a webinar about qualifying your prospects make your content about that, then consider putting in your links to “Black Belt Recruiting” from Mike Dillard at the end of the webinar.

Also, then at the very end of the webinar, mention where you learned your skills in how to qualify your prospects and give them your affiliate link to Black Belt Recruiting.


6. “Follow-up messages” To Attendees

In the same drop down section, you can customize the follow up message that is sent to attendees that were on the webinar.

Set your affiliate link inside the message and schedule it to go out 1 hour after the webinar.


7.”Follow-up messages” to No-Shows

You can personalize a message that is sent to the folks that registered, but didn’t attend your webinar.

Again, customize the message to include your affiliate link and have it scheduled to be sent out 1 hour after the end of the webinar.

Make sure to “Save Changes” at the bottom and you’ve now monetized your webinars!

Advice: For the first few webinars that you do, you may want to warm them up to what you’re doing to get them used to seeing your affiliate links, so consider posting your affiliate links in only a few spots.

So there you have it – this is how you monetize and geerate leads from your webinars.

Last week I downloaded the Ninja Affiliate plugin… and discovered how EASY you can turn keywords into affiliate links – of course the ones that help you make money.

The feature I like the most (which is the CORE of this WordPress plugin) is the option to automatically convert your blog keywords into links to the affiliate product of your choice – even your old keywords from posts you’ve already written.

What I Don’t Like About Being A Ninja?

Well, maybe it’s just me – but there’s a learning curve to mastering this plugin, and getting used to it.  It’d probably take you a few hours to learn all its options and potential.

But at the same time, you can’t tell me about a plugin that doesn’t have a learning curve.  Great plugins take time to learn, and Ninja Affiliate is a great plugin.

When My Mind Starts To Wander…

I started thinking about this post the other day on a drive home from Seattle.

When someone creates a “review” for a particular MLM company, person, lead system, or whatever – wouldn’t you want one from someone who’s been there from Day 1 instead of a newbie in the system just getting their feet wet?

Now, I mean no disrespect to newbies.  I’m still a newbie in terms of A LOT of things – like SEO and blog marketing – and of course I like to think I’m doing well enough at it.

But one of the things I’m not a newbie at is My Lead System Pro.

In fact, I’m one of the original members joining the system in July 2008 – even before they went live in August of 2008.

So I thought that it’s high time someone wrote an honest MLSP review as I know all about it since I’ve been a member from the beginning.


MLSP Review

Recently, MLM Lead System Pro changed their name.  Their new name is now My Lead System Pro – either way MLSP works just as well, and most members simply refer to it by this acronym.

Regardless of the name change, it’s still the same fantastic lead generation system that was launched in Aug 2008.  The brain trust behind MLSP is Norbert Orlewicz, Todd Schlomer, and Brian Fanale.

If you are using video marketing on YouTube or other sites like Google Video and NOT using a video submission service, then you should probably leave  because you’re throwing away your time like it’s free candy at a parade.

Are you seriously spending your precious time submitting your videos to all of the media sites individually?

If you’re not even doing that then you are REALLY wasting your time and energy by making videos and NOT submitting them.

As funny as it is, I’m serious.   Can I ask why you’re not optimizing and leveraging yourself with a program that submits all of your videos to the major and not so major traffic sites?

Here’s what I recommend – Traffic Geyser.   Traffic Geyser is the “800 pound Gorilla” of video submission programs. The load of sites they traffic to is astounding!

3. Monetize That List.  Like I said in #2, step 3 will not work if you don’t build that relationship.  If you’ve built that relationship, you will be able to monetize your list.  Pop out affiliate links, business opportunities, etc and they will signup – almost automatically since they trust you.

Traffic Geyser allows you to finish all three of these steps.  Video marketing is H-O-T!  Once you submit your videos to all of the sites you want & attract leads from those sites, you finish step 2 & 3.  Sure, this can be an entire article in itself, but it is necessary to mention here.
