Top WordPress Plugins for Internet Marketers – Part 2 of 2

So, how did the first half of  the Top WordPress Plugins for Internet Marketers sit in your brain?

Need a refresher from the First half of the Top WordPress Plugins for Internet Marketers?  Click Here

Did it all make sense?

I hope so, because here is the second half of the best plugins for internet marketing and SEO that I could find and actually implement well into my blog.  I wrote on them because I actually USE them and IMPLEMENT them.

PLUS – If you remember, yesterday I mentioned a link to the training source that I STILL use for learning about content marketing – and that it would be at the end of that post.

Well, I forgot to add it, so I’ve included a link to that training at the bottom of this post.

Anyways, here is the second half:

Onlywire For WordPress – A few weeks ago I did a post on this plug-in and it’s enormous social bookmarking power.  I’ll simply refer you to it now: Onlywire Plugin Review

Sociable – The Sociable Plugin is another social bookmarking gadget to have so that your readers will be able to share your posts with the rest of the world.  It works a lot like Onlywire, except that each “bookmark” you make is done individually instead of all at once.

TweetMeme Retweet Button – The TweetMeme plugin allows you to easily use the TweetMeMe button in your WordPress blog posts so that you can automatically Tweet your blog post after you post it.

WP Super Cache – WP Super Cache is a caching plugin for WordPress.   The way that it works is that it generates html files that are placed on a server without processing comparatively heavy PHP scripts.

If you are experiencing a slow load time, by using this plugin you will speed up your WordPress blog significantly.

WP Greet Box – This is one cool gadget to your blog.  Ha!  I love this one.

This plugin will show a different greeting message to your new visitors depending on where they came from.

For example, when a Digg user clicks through from Digg, they will see a message reminding them to Digg your post.  Or if they come from Twitter, they will see a message suggesting them to “Tweet” the post and follow you on Twitter.

You can also set a default greeting message for new visitors asking them to subscribe to your RSS feed.

And I just learned this after reading about the WP Super cache, but this plugin and WP Super Cache are compatible so you don’t have to sacrifice any site loading speed.

Akismet – If there were just ONE anti-spam plugin for you to use, this would be the one.  Download it.  Period.  You will see your spam traffic decrease dramatically.

Tie it together with Simple Trackback Validation plugin below, and you’re golden!

WordPress.com Stats – This is one of the first plugins I downloaded onto my blog – so we go back a long time.  Oh, the memories…

Installing this stats plugin is much like installing Akismet, all you need is your API Key and the rest is automatic.

Once it’s working,  it’ll begin collecting information about your page views, which posts and pages are the most popular, where your traffic is coming from, and what people are clicking on when they leave.

It’ll also add a link to your WordPress dashboard which allows you to see all your stats on a single page.

Simple Trackback Validation – performs a simple test on all incoming links to your comments section in order to stop spam.

When a trackback is received, this plugin checks if the IP address of the sender is equal to the IP address of the webserver the link is referring back to.  This reveals almost every spam link since spammers use “bots.”

So, there you go folks, that is my complete list of the top blog plugins for internet marketing and SEO.

If there is anything else you guys can think of, be sure to let me know.

Now you have a collection of Powerful WordPress Plugins to boost the SEO power of your blog, which will start generating you more blog traffic.   But something tells me that you want to learn more about generating Free and Responsive MLM Leads like I do right?

P.S. – My Bonus

Now, that training course I mentioned.

It is called Viral Content Magic.

Inside you will learn more about :

    Kathy,

THank you for the kind comments.

Again, the key here is to be consistent – daily – with your blogging efforts. And that includes the marketing.

This isn’t a “get results quick” type of strategy – but is certainly paying off in the long run.

That is the key here folks. I’m not re-inventing the wheel here.

This is the stuff that works and the stuff that I am teaching my own team to duplicate and educate others.

    Thanks Bill!

    Barry,

    Akismet kicks butt!

I still find some non-spam that slips into the spam folder, but it’s mostly because some folks try to add backlinks in their comments.

Thanks For the comment Barry, and God Bless!

Dude, my blog is on steroids now because I’m installing your recommended plugins.

So the Sociable plugin has it’s own advantages above & beyond the Onlywire plugin? I’m sure it does or you wouldn’t have mentioned it.

    Thanks for the tips Linus.

    Bert,

Just make sure that the blog commissioner doesn’t start random drug testing for your blog. If so, he’d probably be able to tell that your blog is on ‘roids.

Sociable is in addition to Onlywire in the fact that is is the other best “in-blog” social book marking button that is NOT onlywire.

I think Onlywire is still the best.

  14. Yo Le says:

    Linus,

Part 2 was just as valuable as Part 1! I just wanted to make a few suggestions if I may…

I recommend the Disqus comment system over the default commenting system because it allows all the comments and replies to be neatly organized in a thread. It also allows you to share your comment on Facebook and Twitter.

I also recommend the Digg Digg plugin because it allows you to pick and choose which social sites you’d like people to share your content on, all nice and neat.

(If your NOT using the Digg Digg plugin, then I’d suggest the Facebook Share button as well as Google Buzz plugin.

    - Yo

    Linus Ruzicka Reply:

    Yo,

Excellent brother! I did forget about Disqus…LOL how did that slip my mind?

And for everyone else reading this besides Onlywire and Sociable, there is the “DiggDigg” and “Facebook Share” buttons that you can add to any corner of your blog post for individually entering your information independent of Onlywire.

Those two work well in conjunction with the TweetMeMe button as well.

I have not yet set up a Google Buzz account, but surely will as time goes by here.

Thanks for the additional input Yo!

    God Bless,

    Linus

To answer your question – all you need to do is go to the WordPress “Plugin” tab in your dashboard and you will find the section to add new plugins.

Just type in “WP Greet Box”, and then click to install it. Simple as that really!
